Day 01
  • Colombo / Embilipitiya / Udawalawa 190 KM - 3 Hours

    *Leave “WTC” for Embilipitiya via Ratnapura.
    *Arrive at Embilipitiya and check-in at the Hotel.
    *Leave on a jeep Safari to the Udawalawa National Park.
    This is another of our national parks and is situated around a reservoir of the same name in the South-Central part of the island. Herds of elephants can be seen along the banks of the reservoir. Small game like deer or barking deer can be seen frequently. No leopard or bear roams in this park.
    *Return to the Hotel.
    *Overnight stay at the Hotel in Udawalawe.

Day 02
  • Embilipitiya/Ratnapura/ Colombo.

    *After early breakfast leave to Udawalawa to visit Elephant Transit Home.
    The Udawalawe Elephant Transfer Home is a facility within Udawalawe National Park in Sri Lanka that was established in 1995 by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife Conservation. Its primary objective is to rehabilitate orphaned elephant calves for ultimate release back into the wild.
    *Check out from the Hotel and Leave for Bopath Ella (Water Fall) in Ratnapura.
    The Bopath Falls cascades in the shape of a bo (Ficus religiosa) tree (hence its name) and is the most comprehensively studied fall in Sri Lanka. Its source is the Kurugana River that later joins the Kaluganga River at Kurugaomaodara.
    *Enjoy a river bath and Lunch (Own Arrangement).
    *Commence return journey to Colombo.
    *Arrive at “WTC” in Colombo.
